Cobblers II - The Challenge of Making Changes in Therapy

It is often the case that clients find it difficult and uncomfortable to adopt new ways of behaving and thinking, as indeed we all do. It is like wearing a new pair of shoes. They feel a little strange, they are less comfortable than the old pair, but as we persevere with wearing them, so they become familiar and we wonder why we were so reluctant to get rid of the old pair.
